Environmental, social and governance (ESG) refers to the three central factors in measuring the sustainability and impact of an investment. A large range of companies, investment professionals and global consulting firms have even explicitly incorporated ESG into their evolution strategies. ESG investing is a holistic approach that involves fundamental research, uncovering and understanding adherence of best practices and the impact of these actions on the investment returns and performance.
