Dan Saccardi is a Director in Ceres' Corporate Program where he leads multi-stakeholder dialogues with a portfolio of financial services companies. Dan engages with companies on sustainability strategy, disclosure, policy development and programmatic priorities covering topics such as climate and clean energy, water risk management, product integration, and governance for sustainability.

Dan graduated cum laude from Connecticut College where he received a BA in Environmental Studies. He also holds an MBA and MPA from New York University.

[Event Recap] Discussion of the US SIF Report on The Impact of Sustainable and Responsible Investment



On October 5th, Lisa Woll, CEO of US SIF (The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment), led a discussion of the positive impacts of sustainable and responsible investment (SRI) over the last 25 years. Ms. Woll’s presentation, focusing on the following four areas of broad impact, reviewed the findings from the US SIF Foundation’s recent report. One of the report’s primary goals is to provide data to help communicate how impact investing has influenced the investment industry, companies, communities, public policy, and global standards.

BASIC’s April 12 event focused on the Sustainable Accounting Standards Board’s (SASB) Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) credential. Eric Kane, SASB’s Sector Analyst for Health Care, provided an overview of SASB and the credential certification, and Will Krause, VP and Portfolio Manager at Moody, Lynn & Lieberson, shared a practitioner’s perspective on FSA.
