Carly Greenberg


Carly Greenberg joined BASIC in 2013 as the Marketing Chair and became President in 2015. Carly is also an ESG Analyst at Walden Asset Management, a division of Boston Trust and Investment Management, where she works with the Walden ESG team to assess of environmental, social, and governance performance of current and potential portfolio companies. Carly also assists the ESG team on shareholder engagement initiatives on a variety of topics such as sustainability reporting, water and sustainable agriculture, LGBT workplace equality, and poverty. Carly joined Walden in 2012 and she previously worked for two years with Walden as an intern while she completed her Master’s degree. She is a member of the Investment, ESG Research & Engagement, and CRA Committees, and oversees Walden’s community investing service.

Carly earned a BA, magna cum laude, in Economics and International and Global Studies from Brandeis University and an MA in International Economics and Finance (MAIEF) from the International Business School at Brandeis University. She is also a Phi Beta Kappa key holder. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, and is a member of the CFA Society Boston and the CFA Institute.
